VERY PINK, from our perspective here at Griffin...
Here are some more inspiring stories from our community partners in pink! Thanks to all for your enthusiasm, your imagination, and your commitment to making a difference locally by donating to the Hewitt Center for Breast Wellness:
From October 17-21, Shelton Intermediate School will host five different fundraisers, all hosted by the SIS Teen Community Outreach Program. Students will be selling pink dog tags, lollipops, pink donuts, and they'll also host a "pink hat day" event. On Friday everyone will look Fabulous during the school's "Totally Pink Dress Up Day --10/21." Thanks to the SIS COP kids and to faculty advisor Katherine Maffucci for your spirit!
On Friday, 10/21, the Ansonia Lady Charger Cheerleaders and the Ansonia Chargers Football players will all be decked out in pink for their game against. Cheerleaders will be up in the stands with their megaphones collecting donations. Ansonia Chargers ROCK for the second year in a row - many thanks!
On Sunday, 10/23, Susan Coyle and Ari Bella Restaurant will host the second Vineyards of the World Wine Tasting - come sample these great libations - with thanks to Brescome Barton Liquor Distributors for their donation and Ari Bella for the fine food that will refresh the palette.
Again, thanks to all for keeping it local!!
