Griffin Hospital Offers Tuesday Bereavement Support Groups

Griffin Hospital offers ongoing bereavement support groups for anyone who is experiencing the loss of a loved one. The current session of the support groups, which are facilitated by a member of the hospital's Pastoral Care Staff, runs through March 8.
The groups, which provide grief education and support, are offered on Tuesdays at three convenient times -- noon to 1:30 pm; 2:30 to 4:00 pm; and 6:30 to 8:30 pm -- to accommodate attendees' schedules. The mid-day session is designed specifically for newly bereaved individuals or first time attendees of a bereavement support group, while the afternoon and evening session are ongoing groups.
