DERBY, CT (July 7, 2011): CDW-G of Shelton is the 2011 Community Corporate Cup Champion following a very strong finish that included victories in the final two events and three of the last four Corporate Cup events. CDW-G got off to a great start in the very first event when Evelyn Allen rolled a perfect game and CDW-G won their first of four event titles. They also took first place in the Run/Walk, Wiffleball, and the Healthy Team competitions. PerkinElmer , also of Shelton, finished a strong second this year after winning the Corporate Cup for the previous four years. They managed to capture individual titles in Orienteering, Run/Walk and Mini-Golf. BIC Incorporated, also of Shelton, finished in third place for the second straight year. Darts, Orienteering, Horseshoes, & Mini-Golf Results Darts Corporate Cup action continued at The Valley Y in Ansonia on March 23 with the darts competition. Jeff Westine and Mike Zascirinskis of TEAM, Inc. made it look easy as they rolled over 23 competing teams to win their second straight Corporate Cup Darts title. Playing as TEAM, Inc.'s "A" team, the duo won seven straight games including the championship game over Birmingham Group Health Services' #1 team (Paul Wasalewski and Greg Cahoon). They had previously defeated TEAM, Inc.'s #2 (Rich Knoll & Rubin Gardner) in the finals of the Winners' bracket. DERBY, CT - At this year's Corporate Cup Bowling Tournament on March 12, Evelyn Allen did something no one had ever done before during a Corporate Cup Bowling Tournament and CDW-G was the winner as a result. Evelyn was perfect on her first game of the day! Her 300 game and 731 triple were both tournament records. Another tournament record was the total pin fall of 2,348 that was set by the team surprisingly named "Team I Don't Knows". That broke the previous record of 2,304 set by United Illuminating in 2001. Evelyn's skilled teammates were Corey Goodman, John Prestiano and Walter Veillette.
