Our combined Preventive and Internal Medicine Program is one of only seven in the United States and as a result we receive application from across the country for the three positions that open yearly.

School of Allied Health Careers

Accredited phlebotomy, patient care technician, and certified nursing assistant training programs. Authorized by the Connecticut Department of Higher Education.

Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center

The Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center is grant-funded through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and is directed by Dr. David L. Katz.

Clinical Pastoral Education

Accredited by The Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc.

CPR Training Center

Classes at the CPR Training Center are offered in ACLS, PALS, Healthcare Provider, Heartsaver AED and First Aid, Pediatric First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, Family & Friends, CPR Anytime and Safe Sitter courses. Training is sponsored by the Griffin Hospital Valley Parish Nurse Program, the official American Heart Association Training Center (TC) for the hospital.

ACLS & PALS
