In October 2008, Griffin Hospital will open its new Ambulatory Care Pavilion and Community Cancer Center. The 49,000 square foot facility will set a new standard for community cancer care, combining state-of-the-art technology with a Planetree healing environment that features abundant natural light, views of nature, an absence of physical barriers between patients and caregivers, and a holistic approach that addresses patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. The Center will offer seamless care coordination and convenient access to specialists providing radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and surgical cancer treatment -- all under the same roof.
