Griffin Hospital Welcomes New General Surgeon

Griffin Hospital is pleased to welcome Kathleen Minnick, MD, a board certified general surgeon who specializes in women’s health issues, particularly breast health and breast surgery. 

Dr. Minnick received her medical degree from Penn State University and went on to complete a residency program in Surgery at Penn State Geisinger Health System in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where she later served as Chief Resident in General Surgery.  She comes to Griffin from Palm Beach, Florida, where she served as Vice Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Wellington Regional Medical Center.  Dr. Minnick has joined Dr. Ihor Ponomarenko and Dr. Leland Soto at General and Laparoscopic Surgical Associates, located at 300 Seymour Avenue in Derby.  She can be reached at 203.732.3443.
