Griffin Hospital's Pastoral Care Department offers religious and spiritual support for many denominations in both the main hospital building and in The Center for Cancer Care.
Chaplains
Griffin Hospital offers chaplain services for patients and visitors:
- To provide spiritual and emotional support
- To accompany families or individuals in times of crisis
- For prayer and other religious services
- To provide council about ethical concerns and decisions
Chaplain services are available 24/7.
If a Chaplain is needed immediately, please ask your nurse or staff member to page the Chaplain on-call.
Chapels
Main Hospital
In the main Griffin Hospital building, a chapel is located on the first floor of the hospital's east wing. The chapel is open 24-hours for prayer and meditation. Weekly chapel services are offered each Wednesday at noon. Special services are held in recognition of Holy Days of various faiths.
Center for Cancer Care
An additional chapel is located in the main lobby of the Center for Cancer Care.
