The Aquatic Therapy Program at Griffin hospital is designed for a variety of patients including those with a limited weight bearing status and those who have not responded to or cannot tolerate land-based physical therapy.

- A SwimEx pool that is capable or providing a current with resistance for more challenging therapy
- Heated water with temperatures kept at about 94 degrees
- A lift for patients with limited mobility who are unable to climb a ladder
- Private men's and women's locker rooms supplied with towels and robes
- A personal experience with only one pool patient at a time
- Offered five days a week, Monday – Friday
- Initial evaluation on land and treatment sessions in pool

- Incontinence
- Seizure disorder
- Sensitivity to heat (multiple sclerosis)

- Extreme fear of water
- Severe breathing impairments (COPD)
