A Simple Test - Covered By Insurance - That Can Save Your Life.

If you (or a loved one) are between the ages of 55 and 77 and have ever been a heavy smoker, the risk of developing lung cancer should not be ignored.  Griffin Hospital offers a low-dose CT lung cancer screening to those who qualify based on age and smoking history. The screening, which is covered by insurance, can help detect lung cancer early which can increase survival rates among smokers by as much as 20%.

To determine your risk for lung cancer and to see if you qualify for this free screen, please check all that apply: 

Category 1

   I am age 55-77

   I have smoked at least 1 pack per day for 30 years or more 

Category 2

   I am age 55-77

   I have smoked at least 1 pack per day for   20 years or more AND I have at least 1 of the following risk factors:

   I have COPD

   I have had environmental/occupational exposure

   I have had prior cancer/radiation therapy

   I have genetic/family history 

 

Category 3

   I am a lung cancer survivor
