Thanks to the support of so many individuals, corporations, and foundations throughout the Valley, Griffin Hospital is delighted to announce the successful completion of the Campaign for Breast Wellness. With your help, we reached our goal of raising $1 million to create the Hewitt Center for Breast Wellness. We thank everyone who supported this important initiative. Thanks to the generosity and help of so many individuals, companies, clubs, churches, foundations,, schools, and municipalities throughout the Valley and beyond, we are only $40,098.94 away from achieving our goal of raising $1 million. We are so close, and we never would have come this far without our community's support.

Congratulations go out to the Campaign for Breast Wellness Committee for being selected as the 2011 winner of the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce Leadership in Healthcare Award.
This is a well-deserved honor for an outstanding group of volunteers whose passion, dedication, hard work and creativity have not only raised close to $1 million for the Hewitt Center for Breast Wellness, but which have also inspired an entire community to come together around an important cause.
We are grateful to the Healthcare Council for this nomination, and of course, to the women and men who have spent two years with us to help achieve the goal. ...

From banks to beauty parlors, from fire departments to football teams, people of all ages throughout the Valley came together around a cause, and their fundraising has truly made a difference. Your gifts - large and small - have now added up to $48,000, and gifts are still coming in!
