Our Diagnostic Navigation Staff personify the seamless and thoughtful care environment provided at the Center for Breast Wellness, providing coordinated, accessible and compassionate care.

When patients need additional diagnostic testing, such as ultrasound or stereotactic biopsy, Diagnostic Navigators are assigned to assist them as patient advocates.  The Diagnostic Navigation role — which is based on the the successful Patient Care Navigator model at Griffin's Center for Cancer Care — includes coordinating appointment schedules, helping access multidisciplinary treatment, communicating with specialists and primary care physicians regarding their patients’ needs and treatment, and translating and interpret complex care plans.
