By Christian Meagher on 4/26/2022

The Center for Cancer Care at Griffin Hospital will host a free program on healthy lifestyle habits, including a live cooking demonstration, for cancer patients and caregivers on Thursday, May 19 from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Griffin Center for Healthy Living at Quarry Walk, 300 Oxford Rd., Oxford.

Entitled Preventing Cancer & Recurrence, the program will feature a discussion led by Certified Oncology Dietitian Stacey Leary and Certified Lymphedema Occupational Therapist Erin Mullen about how nutrition and physical activity can help keep individuals cancer free. The program will end with a live cooking demonstration by Executive Chef Mike Rizzio of the simple and deliciously nutritious Citrus Quinoa Avocado Salad and Southwest Vegetable Frittata.
