Living With Dementia for Middle Stage Caregivers

Griffin Hospital and the Connecticut Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association is offering a new free 3-part series for caregivers of those with Alzheimer's disease and related demenitas on three consecutive Thursdays in June. Topics covered include: 

June 12th-   Symptoms of Middle Stage, Communication, Relationship Changes, Providing Personal Care, Preparing for Hospitalization

June 19th – Behavior Changes, Medication Changes, Home Safety, Driving, Living Alone, Wandering             

June 26th- Day Services, In-Home Care Services, Senior Living Options, Caregiver Needs

When care-partners become hands-on caregivers 

Join us for this free 3-part series and hear caregivers and professionals discuss helpful strategies to provide safe, effective and comfortable care in the middle stage of Alzheimer’s.
