All ACLS and PALS courses are taught by certified American Heart Association instructors. Training is sponsored by the Griffin Hospital Valley Parish Nurse Program, the official American Heart Association Training Center (TC) for the hospital.

Griffin Hospital School of Allied Health Careers

Accredited phlebotomy, patient care technician, and certified nursing assistant training programs. Authorized by the Connecticut Department of Higher Education.

Institutional Review Board (IRB)

Create and submit new research protocol involving human subjects with the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at Griffin Hospital.

Therapeutic Share Group

Therapeutic Share is a practice group for energy healers to come together in meditation, dialogue and practice. It is a time of sharing, learning and self care. Practitioners of all energetic healing modalities are welcome to join the group.

Medical Education

Our combined Preventive and Internal Medicine Program is one of only seven in the United States and as a result we receive application from across the country for the three positions that open yearly.

Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center

The Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center is grant-funded through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and is directed by Dr. David L. Katz.
