Preventing illness and chronic disease through routine screenings

Prevent Illness & Chronic Disease with Routine & Specialty Screenings

In partnership with the community we serve, Griffin Hospital provides routine and specialty screenings throughout the year to help identify potential issues and prevent chronic illness.

What increases the chances of detecting certain cancers early when they are most likely to be curable? You guessed it; cancer screenings. In accordance with the American Cancer Society, Griffin Hospital believes that screening for cancer are critically important for everyone.

Keeping your heart healthy begins with regular blood pressure and cholesterol screenings. Warning signs help us avoid long-term damage such as heart attacks and stokes. When we are alerted to early warning signs, we can work with our healthcare professionals to make the lifestyle adjustments needed to get our numbers back in line and decrease our risk.

To ensure the on-going health and well-being of our community, Griffin Health Services offer heart, cancer and a wide variety of other health screening opportunities for men and women of all ages - most of them free. We strongly encourage you to sign up and be screened routinely throughout the years.
