Griffin Hospital is accepting bids for the removal of the current back up emergency generator and replacement/ connection of a new emergency backup generator.

As is articulated in Addendum #4R1 Bidders are invited to attend Bid Reviews with the Owner and Engineer on Thursday, October 24, 2024, available times are as follows:
a. 10:00AM to 10:45AM
b. 10:45AM to 11:30AM
c. 11:30AM to 12:15PM
d. 12:15PM to 1:00PM
Please E-Mail Steve Perry at sperry@vanzelm.com to reserve your first and second choice time slot. You will be notified of your time slot as soon as all bidders have replied.
The representatives at the bid review should be prepared to answer the nine (9) questions outlined in the attachment to Addendum #4R1.
The successful contractor will be selected on or about October 28, 2024. The contract will be awarded on or prior to November 15, 2024 by Griffin Hospital in writing.
As is articulated in Addendum #4, the contract award date has been extended to on or about October 21, 2024.
Pre-bid Meeting: All potential bidders are advised to attend a pre-bid meeting at the project location on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 10:00 am local time.
A second Pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 26, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
Please present to the front of the main building at 130 Division Street, Derby, CT
Proposals shall be due on or before August 30, 2024, 4:00 p.m.
As is articulated in Addendum 2-REVISED, item #5, proposals shall be due no later than September 26, 2024, 4:00 p.m.
