AgeWell at Shelton Senior Center

Griffin Health and the Agency on Aging of South Central Connecticut are partnering to increase access to care and prevent disease among our senior community through AgeWell, a monthly series of health screenings and healthy living education sessions at area senior centered. Periodically, this program will provide nutritionally balanced and delicious food for attendees to enjoy.

Fueling your Body with Fiber and Why It Matters

Griffin Health Clinical Lead Dietitian Jody Reade, RD, CDN, will discuss the importance of fiber and how to creatively increase fiber intake with common kitchen ingredients. Griffin Health caregivers will also offer free blood pressure screenings and consultation.
