What is ITIP?
The ITIP Award is a monthly recognition presented to employees who exemplify Griffin Hospital’s employee philosophy, which reflects the primary mission of the hospital:
“Patients will receive quality care in a caring way that meets their physical, social and spiritual needs and employees are committed to satisfied patients as the best measure of the patient experience at Griffin and the quality of care provided.”
Staff members are nominated by their peers and the program is designed to publicly recognize and reward behavior which exemplifies the principles of the employee philosophy and improves patient/client satisfaction.
How does ITIP Work?
Nominations can be made by all employees, managers, directors, volunteers and visitors.
The nominations are gathered by the Human Resources department and distributed to the ITIP Selection Committee. This committee reviews the nomination and selects monthly winners from each Griffin Hospital division
