The Hewitt Center for Breast Wellness at Griffin Hospital is a designated Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR). In awarding the status of a “Breast Imaging Center of Excellence,” the ACR recognizes that The Hewitt Center for Breast Wellness demonstrates excellence in breast imaging by successfully earning accreditation in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, and breast ultrasound (including ultrasound-guided breast biopsy).
