Heart Health Workshop

The Heart Health Workshop is a free, three-week workshop that provides health education on heart disease with an emphasis on the management of hypertension and elevated cholesterol.

Based on guidelines by the American Heart Association, this program educates and empowers individuals to care for their hearts through nutrition, exercise, body composition, and stress reduction education. Weekly speakers include a certified diabetes care and education specialist.

This session will be held on Thursdays April 2, 9, and 16 from 10-11:30 a.m. at The Center for Cancer Care at Griffin Hospital, 350 Seymour Ave., Derby. Participants are invited to use the Cancer Center’s free valet parking at the front entrance.
